Teaching Gratitude

sometimes it seems like it is getting harder and harder to teach the munchies gratitude, especially as we get closer to the 'most wonderful time of the year'... charlie and dagny have already started their lists for santa, although my sweet dagalicious thinks the list is what santa himself would like. (a princess movie, she has decided). at 4, charlie has the santa thing down, and is hoping the elves are hard at work on  'off-road racing motorcycle that can drive in the desert'. anyone see one of those at target?

i have decided to start a new tradition for Team Beasley - tonight, and every night until Thanksgiving, we are going to go around the dinner table and say one thing we are thankful for, and i will write them all down and put them in our 'Thanksgiving Jar'.  i imagine we will start off with lots of thanks for nascar drivers, purses, princesses and probably fruit snacks too - but my hope is that we will end up with the realization that we are all most thankful for each other.

tonight, however, i am thankful for a husband who agrees to have the dining room painted pink!
